2005-- September 1-5 in the Historic Hudson River Valley in upstate New York. The headquarters hotel was the Holiday Inn in Fishkill, NY. The area is about an hour north of New York City.
A group of about 150 Birkenfelders enjoyed a beautiful weekend in the Hudson River Valley. The program planned by Tom Noonan was great. The great weather was appreciated, blue skys with little puffy white clouds were with us all weekend.
Trips to West Point, lunch in the West Point Club with a tour following; trips to Hyde Park (FDR's home), The Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome and Airshow, dinner and dance, and a trip to NYC, the Intrepid Air Space museum, and ground zero ended with a riding tour of the city,
A great adventure for all attending.
